Whatk happens during the Covid crisis?
Alexander Technique is a hands on activity and clients learn through sensory means. With a mask, I am allowed to work on the lower half of the body but not in the head and neck area. I thought this would eliminate the possibility of working with anyone but because a couple of my clients have been so keen to continue lessons, I have devised ways to work with them while adhering to the rules.
If you are in a lot of pain, you will gain something from these cautious lessons but it will not be the full experience. It is better than nothing but do be prepared to return when we are allowed to work normally again.
